My FH doesn't really like to wear jewelry, but he said he will get a band that's really plain and hopefully he will get used to wearing it.

See his job too ...he works for sanitation in the city and i can def. under if he does not want to wear it to work ..but he told me that is he into the whole tradition thing and he said if i wear it u will be lucky so i really dont know if he will wear one
My best friends husband works in maintenance and he has two bands--one that is really nice and has diamonds and one that is cheap and he doesn't care if it gets messed up that he wears to work. FH doesn't like jewelry but does like the Tungsten bands so that is what he'll be getting. Plain. No diamonds.

No he does not want to wear one at all...not even a plain looking one ..thats why im alittle upset with him...its like he does not want people to know he is married but then he said when he goes out he would wear it so i dunno what to think at this point
Yea I just had him read all the comments lol but he said I'm still not wearing one....and his father does not wear one too like father like son lol

Tell him you will get a comfort fit band and it won't feel like he is wearing it! Honestly, ask your jeweler if they carry comfort fit it really does help the feel of a ring, it is the only way my fh will wear one
FH is looking forward to getting one but he doesnt want anything fancy... he likes the tungsten bands too. He works in construction and is down in holes all day so he wont wear it there, which I completely understand and I wouldnt want him to lose it anyway. Hes excited to wear it the rest of the time tho; I would be really upset if he didnt want to wear it.

LOL My FH said the same thing! He said he wants an engagement ring!Thankfully he feels this way because I would be highly upset if he didn't want to wear it. Its more than just a ring, it symbolizes us and our marriage and commitment to each other. I'd tell FH too bad, you need to get used to it, your wearing it! PERIOD!

This sounds like my FH... he wants Diamonds in his band. Bling Bling... I'm in trouble.
But I'd be upset too... I'm not into tattoo's but I like it of a ring or my name if he doesn't want to wear a ring.
My FH said the same thing, because he is law enforcement, and didn't want to really wear it, but we talked about it a bit, and I said he can pick out any band he wants, the most 'manly' band he can find lol. but I felt the same way you did, just let him know how important it is to you.
