jtb does 3 weddings ay a time I. think..... Fox is more I. think 4?

Fox Hollow ONLY does up to 2 weddings at a time and they are both very separate and very private. The ONLY time you will see someone from another wedding is when you pull into the parking lot but each wedding has their own valet service. So you never really see anyone

Oh awesome! That's great to know! I actually work right by the Fox Hollow and I drive by it all the time and its so pretty! I wanted to definitely look there. If its only 2 weddings at a time and they are separate then they will be one of the first I look at. I just wonder if either of their rooms holds up to 200-250 people?

The Somerly Room holds 223? I am not sure what the number is for the Winter Garden Room. I have pics of the Somerly that I can send you.

That would be great!! Thank you!

FM me your email address and I will send it to you

I will. :)

Wow!! See how much I know! LOL I better get to researching.

Congrats and welcome!! It's very exciting to have new 2015 Brides on this board!

I just wanted to mention that if you book the Sumerly room at Fox Hollow everything down to the parking lot is in a separate wing of the venue so it will be less likely that your guests will inter mingle with any other ppl. You'll have the effect of a one wedding venue but the price of a multiple wedding venue. I highly recommend this venue! Good Luck.

Re: Question...

I went to one bridal expo but I didn't really like it b/c it was overwhelming with vendors trying to talk to you and get your info. I'm more of an online person though.. I like to research things. My suggestion would be to create your tentative guest list and decide on a price per plate range that you'd be comfortable with. Then websites like the knot and wedding wire list sooo many venues. There's also a LI brides magazine with lots of venues advertised. And sometimes brides on here can provide quotes and reviews before you even call the venue. Just my two cents.

Thank you so much!!

That's great to know, thank you! I am definitely going to make an appointment to go check them out. The rooms on their website look so nice, so they may be a contender!

Yea, I've heard from a few friends that they can be very overwhelming. I don't think you can properly get the feel of the venue with an expo. I started making a list last night of places I want to go check out in person. Now I just have to make the appointments! Thanks for the advice!

I am going to do exactly what you did! Seems less chaotic this way. And at least you can see the venue without a ton of people running around. I might try go to an expo at the place I book... but that will be AFTER I book! ha! Thanks for the tip!!

If you had any certain places in mind you can post on here and people will share the quotes that they have!

Hi KelliAnne,

I just wanted to let you know that you should definitely check out North Ritz Club!!!! I literally looked at over 10 venues before booking North Ritz! I love that it is one wedding at a time and they threw in the Viennese hour free for me!! Also, they have a chapel on site which was super important to me. Let me know if you have any questions! I can't wait to start planning now that I have my venue and date set :)
