Question---(a little long)

Hi Everyone-

I started using these boards back in 2000 when I got engaged and all throughout my planning. I loved them. I have dropped off for quite some time but have in the past few months been lurking on the TTC and Parenting boards b/c my husband and I went off the pill in December.

Well- this weekend I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive. We are very happy- but before then and since then I have just had constant cramps. Nothing severe but contast. Then yesterday afternoon I had some spotting very light and dull- which of course made me freak out. But I do remember reading a lot about others experiencing this. Before I went to bed- I had more intense cramps and brighter spotting that really freaked me out. It only lasted about 5 mins.

My husband and I are first timers with this so we don't know what to think----

I spoke with my doctor this morning and since I am so newly pregnant they can't do a sono- she told me that it all sounds pretty normal but if I spot again and it's bright then to call again and they will see me.

I want to be happy and exited about this but I can't with all of this going on- I was hoping that some of you could share similar stories if you have them so maybe I can relax a bit.....

It could be implantation bleeding. HOw far along are you? Did you have a doctor's appointment? Did she check your HCG levels?

I had spotting and my doctor took me in right away. My levels were not where they were suppose to be and It ended up being an ectopic. I don't mean to scare you and I hope this doesn't happen to you but, to ease your mind you should go to the doctor.

5 weeks(according to the first day or my last period) so really only like 2-3 weeks- I called my doctor and she told me that it all sounded normal- some women have these symptoms. She also said I may see more of the light stuff but if I I had the other I should call right away and they would see me.

Does that sound ok?

I think it is normal,
I did not have any implantation bleeding myself, but I know alot of woman do.

I did have lots of cramping though,
and the dr. said that is normal.

that was actually my first sign of being preggo,
