Question about Addressing Invites...

When addressing, do I put Apartment numbers on the same line as the street, or a separate line? For example:

John Smith
123 Main Street, Apartment 3B
New York, New York 10109

OR

John Smith
123 Main Street
Apartment 3B
New York, New York 10109

I had calligraphy so she put it on the 2nd line since it would be too long.

I had mine done this way:
John Smith
123 Main Street
Apartment 3B
New York, New York 10109

ETA: Sometimes the calligrapher will charge you more for a 4th line though.

Mine will be done on separate lines I believe.

I think either is acceptable. Since we spelled out the word 'Apartment,' FH and I decided to do it on separate lines.
