So, I had my trial with *** a couple of months ago and really liked the makeup. Except, the eyeliner was slightly too thick and the airbrush foundation/makeup was too heavy around my nose/mouth. At the trial I asked her about the heaviness of the foundation and she told me to moisturize more. Well... ok.
Here's my question, I cannot afford a 2nd trial with her and I've already booked. Is it rude or obnoxious to ask her on the wedding day to tone those things down? Do you think it's risky to wait that long?
(Pics of trial in my account, wearing my hair up).

Re: Question about airbrush m/u and ***
No, I'm seeing my girl for my hair trial soon. I didn't really like the way my foundation photographed when I went for my trial, so when I see her I'm going to ask her if I can have airbrush done instead to compare. I'm hoping she doesn't charge me just to do my foundation. Anyway, if you have any concerns let her know.

Re: Question about airbrush m/u and ***
I think that the eyeliner is definitely something your artist can just tone down if requested and not something to re-trial over. But the foundation is worth another trial in my opinion. Maybe she would do a trial for less money to do JUST the foundation again for you to see if it comes out better? You need to be happy on that day and not be worrying from now to then if you're not happy with something. I know *** is a highly-sought-after professional but if she's not willing to work with you til you're happy, she might not be the right person for the big day. You are the customer...

Re: Question about airbrush m/u and ***
Did you officially book her yet? Can you say you are strongly considering booking her, but you really want the eyeliner and foundation toned down?
I've found that the phrase 'I'm considering...' bears a lot of weight in the wedding world, and vendors are usually eager to get you to seal the deal.

Just let her know. I didn't like my lipstick and she changed it on the spot. Not a big deal! Also, it's your money and your day, let her know what you think looks best.

Re: Question about airbrush m/u and ***
I used M** and she was amazing! Dont worry about your day! She made me feel more beautiful than Ive EVER felt. Shes a sweetheart. Call her, let her know your concerns about the foundation, let her know about the eyeliner. I changed 2 things from my trial. I had her do eyeliner more on the inner rim and I had airbrush instead of reg foundation. She was a total doll about EVERYTHING, I emailed anytime I had a question or concern about my hair and she answered or clarified and reassured me everytime.
She even had me come back to try reg foundation vs airbrush by doing half my face in reg and half my face in airbrush so talk to her. Shes awesome!
Best of luck!!!!!! FM me anytime if you have any questions about her Id be more than happy to help if I can!
PS- You look gorgeous! Love your hair and makeup, she did a great job!!!!!
