Question about bachelorette party....

Do most people know that if they attend a bachelorette party that they are funding their own way? For example...a dinner was arranged to start the evening so that the moms and others who dont plan on continueing the evening can feel like theyre involved....Later that night, about 13 girls are taking a limo out dancing but were told previously what the anticipated financial damage would be...Is the census that most assume that when they attend the dinner that they will be paying for themselves...? The invites are being sent out later this week and i was just making sure that we need not state anywhere that this is an out to dinner/pay your own way event...When i was invited to previous bachelorette parties, i always knew but ive learned...NEVER ASSUME!!!!!

You are right, you can never assume. My sister recently sent out her wedding invitations and included invitations to the rehearsal dinner in some of them. Some people called her to ask if they were expected to pay for themselves. She just took for granted that people would know they do not. She ended up calling everyone anyway to let them know that they did not have to worry about the cost. I guess my point is that even though you think it is known that you are expected to pay for yourself you should not assume that everyone realizes that.

I have always been prepared to pay my own way at a bachelorette party. What comes around, goes around. I have a large group of friends and we all do it for each other. You shouldn''t have to pay for the party just because you are in the wedding party.
