My girls went to get their measurements and the dress I picked for them has a train.. Now, My question is when I asked the lady at the store, she said they can do a bustle on their dresses, where they pin up the train for the reception?? has anyone seen this done?? I love the dress and the girls do to, but is a train going to be annoying??

Re: Question about BM dress
I was in a wedding that the dress had a train. It was a little annoying. I held the back of my dress in my hands for most of the night. But the dresses did look gorgeous. I think letting them bustle it for the reception is a great idea.

Re: Question about BM dress
I wore a BM dress for my friend's wedding with a train and had it bustled. It looked really pretty. Just keep in mind it brings up the alteration costs if they aren't capped, if that is a problem for your girls. I think mine was close to $50 for a hook and eye bustle.

Re: Question about BM dress
yeah the costs for alterations goes up b/c of the bustle but if your girls are okay with it..then go for it. Its really not that much more.

Re: Question about BM dress
I would say do the bustle-a train would be annoying-unless your the bride.
