When should I start looking for them..i have 6 people in my bridal party and they are somewhat difficult with styles (as they are all different sizes and shapes). My mother wanted to start looking in november..is that too late? how long do the dresses usually take to come in? tia

BM dresses usually take 3-4 months...sometimes less. you still have time

They had told me to look for it 6 month before the wedding, it take 3-4 months to get plus any alteration time

I would suggest ordering 6 months prior at least so that you have plenty of time for delivery and alterations. If you think it will take some time to find the right style i would start looking now. Good Luck!

Well it depends on the designer on how long it takes to come in. Watters is like 3 and Jim Hjelm is also around that time

They only take 3-4 months to come in. To give an example, I'm just under 6 months out and my girls just ordered there's a couple of weeks ago. So that gives them 3-4 months to come in and plenty of time for alterations. So you have plenty of time. If you want to start looking in November that would be good because it'll give you plenty of time to search. The search alone took me a couple of months, then you can place the order after the new year.

Like the other gurls said...it depends on the designer. I was in a BP last yr and the wedding was in Aug. We ordered them in Nov...and they arrived by Feb. (The designer was Laundry)
Do you have an idea of what you would like?

I was told 3-4 months to come in. I'll be ordering all of mine by mid October the latest to give time to come in, have fittings & allow for error in dress order.

I would say to go b/w 8 and 6 months before the wedding. YOu will probably wan to order them about 4-5 months before to be safe.
