Question about BM dresses, with poll.

If you fell in love with a BM dress but they didn't make it in the color that you wanted, would you change the color that you'd been wanting or would you start looking for a new dress?

I would choose a different dress., it may throw the total vision of your wedding off.

I picked elope. I thought it was funny.

But I'd probably change my color scheme. It's been HARD trying to find the perfect BM dress!

What are the two colors, Kim? Did you want it in navy?

ETA: But then again you still have plenty of time to find the perect BM dress in the color you want. Don't feel rushed!

Does it come in a different shade of the original color you wanted? It really depends on how important having that particular color is to you. But with all of the bridesmaid dresses out there, I think if you looked some more you'd probably find a similar gown that came in the color you wanted. Good luck!

I'd probably change my color scheme too.

I only say this because I know you and you're not as anal about the whole wedding theme/color thing.

OK, here the dress...

I wanted Eggplant but it's not shown on the website as coming in Eggplant... HOWEVER, the bridal place showed me that it comes in Eggplant (I e-mailed them to double check). If it doesn't that I would consider doing Black or Merlot... here the dress on my BM...

It will look GREAT on everyone!!!

Well it depends what other colors it comes in, if its in other colors that you dont like or that are ugly I say try looking for another dress or something similar to the dress you love

If the dress came in the color scheme thats I was into (like fall colors) I would pick another color. If it didnt I would pick a whole new dress

That's a pretty dress but I voted that I would look for another dress. That's what keeps happening to me, not many places have the exact blue color I want so I keep falling in love with a dress then have to go to the next hoping it will come in my color!

You're right... I looove the Eggplant color, but any fall color will be fine... Keep your fingers crossed ladies... Thanks for the advice!

I changed my color for the dress!

I wanted 'ocean blue' which is a really bright blue but the dress I liked only came in 'royal blue'
I changed it in a heart beat bc i loved the dresses!

oh yeah and elope.

i chose just to elope ... screww the whole wedding thing ...no honestly i would look for another dress .. i refused to change my color ... i have always said i wanted my color forever so i stuck with it though i found plenty of dresses i loved that didnt come in my color also try to find a smillar dress by a diffrent maker that hs your color ... i noticed a lot of designers make simillar dresse ...

same here... i'd probobly look for a differant dress because that's what i've been doing. i cant find the right shade of purple in a dress i love but i know it's got to be out there.

don't worry, there's still plenty of time, and if you do go with that dress it'll be lovely b/c that dress is gorgeous.
i think there may be more out there like that though so you may not have to get a totally diff style dress just to get the color you want.
