I just wanted to pose a question to all the ladies on this board because you are always so helpful to my FI...I have 3 brothers and I don't know how I could choose one over the other to be the best man, we are a very close family and I can't see myself asking just one...I was thinking of having all 3. What do you ladies think of this? good idea, bad idea? What should I do!

I think its a good idea. FH is having two best men because he couldn't choose between his two best friends. My best friend's DH had 5 best men... all five of his brothers. Its your day so you can do what makes you happiest. I say do it!!

Ooh, this must be tough for you. I feel for you.
You fail to mention what your FI thinks about your situation so I wonder what she is wanting you to do. How many attendants will she have this special day and has she given you any guidance or direction on this matter?

The best advice I got from the pastor was that do what feels right to you.
She has seen many combos so there is nothing wrong in what you choose to do..may even haven been done before

i have seen multiple best men i think its a great idea so you have to choose. i think that weddings have come a long way in the sense that pretty much anything is exceptable now. i mean my brother and i are best friends and he was my man of honort instead of me having a maid of honor. i think its great you dont want to choose. good luck with everything

depends on the relationships...
we have FH's 2 brothers as GM's but the BM is FH's best friend. i didn't want a larger wedding party, but we didn't feel right asking only one brother to be a GM and not the other...

Thank you all for your help, my FI thinks it's a good idea because she knows how it's been bothering me and we will just pair up the extra girls with one of the GM...I feel much better now

I always say it is Best Man (only 1) but i dont see that there is anything wrong with it. Are you closer to one of them?

that was the probelm I'm close with all 3 of them we always hang out together, so I couldn't just choose one.

when i was in my cousin's wedding her husband had three brothers and all were best men -they took turns saying the BM speach at each others wedding so that each will do it once - and i was a bridesmaid and walked with one of the brothers and it was no problem

definitely go for the best MEN option. No need to try to keep tradition ~ so make it exactly how you would like it.

My best friend had both of her sisters as MOH, and our Best Man had his two brothers as his best men...two, three whats the difference - do what makes you happy!
