Question about Bridal party entrance into reception...

hi girls,

are you having your band or dj say everyone's first & last name when they announce the bridal party? i'm just wondering b/c i don't want anyone's names to be mis-pronounced...

also....how will you & your FH be announced?
will they say ' Mr. & Mrs. John Smith'
or 'Jane & John Smith'???

(the things i worry about!!!)

We had our DJ say first names only and I went over the list of names with him first so they would all be pronounced correctly. There was only one nmae I thought he might screw up. After I told him how to say it, he wrote it down on his card the way it is pronounce dinstead of the way it is spelled. He did a good job.

Also, for us, he said the new Mr. and Mrs John and Jane Doe.

When I had my bridal party enter - I had first names only.
We came in as 'Mr. and Mrs. our first names and the new last name.'
You can do either or.

The band will not be anouncing the bridal party. They will walk in with everyone else. Or if we change our minds they will just anounce heres the wedding party and they will all walk in together!

As for FI and I...they will say Mr and Mrs. his first name, his last name...gives me chills just thinking about it.

for the bridal party...I had them announce only the first names. For parents, they announced both and for us it was announced....Mr. & Mrs. Joe and Jane Smith.

I gave the DJ a list with last names...he did the parents with last names...but not the BP...I guess so not to mispronounce them..

He did announce us as Mr. and Mrs. John and Erica F....
