Has anyone found a dress they love at a boutique and then ordered it from Burton's? Can Burton's order any dress (I'm looking for a Maggie Sottero) or just the ones they have samples of? Are their prices really good? Do they do alterations?
yup - that's what I did. Found a dress somewhere else and then ordered it from Burtons (and it's a Maggie). They do alterations. Alterations are included in the price except for the bustle which is I think $150 (but I could be wrong about the price)
im pretty sure they can order you any dress... mine was a couple hundred cheaper than macys (demetrios)... i'll fm you more info though
I saw a Sottero and Midgley dress and Burton's was able to order it for me. It was about $200 less than where I saw the dress. Burton's doesn't have a great selection there but they can order the dress for you.
Where exactly is Burton's?
I found my dress at Fantasia in Rocky Point and then went to Burton's to order it even though they didn't have it in the store. It was about $300 cheaper than the price at Fantasia.
I found my dress at Macy's (Smithhaven Mall) and ordered it through Burtons. It was over $400 cheaper at Burtons. They don't charge for alterations for the bride. They charge for the bustle and if you need 'hollow to hem'. Def worth calling them. Carole is a sweetheart.
