Question about bustle/train and the 1st dance

My train isn't very long but it's not long enough that I can hold it while dancing.

I plan on moving around the dance floor (hopefully) with FH. I don't want it to get in the way.
Should I bustle it for the first dance?

That's what I am doing. I like my bustle and that holding it with that little loop seems like it would be annoying.

Yes bustle!!!! My sil just got married this month.. she has a small train but enough to hold. Thats what she planned on doing.
She wound up missing HALF of her first dance song b/c the train kept slipping off her arm and making it impossible to dance!!! It was so awkward and I felt really bad for her!!
There she is standing in the middle of the dance floor with the song playing and everyone watching. The groom was just standing there with no idea what to do.

Finally her mom and aunts and uncles started screaming for her to just let it go and dance on it!!!!

Its even worse that she will have to relive that when she sees the video!

BUSTLE IT !! who wants to deal w/ that train while you're dancing ?? I bustled mine before I went into the cocktail hour. - I couldn't wait to get rid of that train !!!

I had a sweep train, but did not bustle it before the first dance. We didn't do any 'special moves' or anything though. I honestly didn't even think to bustle it - I had no idea it was there Only after the first dance, did the bridal attendant ask me if I wanted to bustle it. heh

I bustled it before we were introduced, its just easier because after that you wont have the time

I kept mine down for the cocktail hour and bustled it right before we were introduced.

Bustled before cocktail hr...also didn't carry my bo-k into the room when introduced..was one less thing to worry about.
