We don't have much time in between our church and reception and want to try to make part of the coctail hour. Is there a way I can take pictures at the church right after the ceremony? How do you do that without everyone being in front of the church after the ceremony?

Re: Question about church pictures...
My friend did that and everyone kindof knew to get out of the way. Plus the photographer kindof in a nice way asked people to move

I'm having the same problem. We want pics at the church, but feel it will be difficult with all of our guests there. Our priest suggested keeping the guests inside but i feel i'd be locking them in the church if we do that.

No he doesn't want to see me first. My friend had something in her program that said no receiving line but people still were in front of the church. I love my church and definitely want pics in front of it without people trying to say hello and everything. I dont mean to sound rude we are just going to be really pressed for time!
