How did everyone go about contacting photographers when you first started looking? I noticed they all have the contact us forms on their websites. Wasn't sure if I should use these or just call them myself. So clueless!

I first emailed them what i wanted to get price quotes if they were in my budget I called to set up a meeting

yeah u can call. we just called the photographers to set up appointments.

We called the ones we wanted to see to try and set up appointmens... Or whenever we had time we would call and try and set up an appointment that day... It really isn't to bad to just show up at the place most times... especially during the week... Although there are a couple that are small businesses so dont go to those, the bigger companies you can... We went to see Thomas Paul and we met him at his house... We didn't book with him, but he was very nice and did great work we just loved Duet more...

I first emailed companies to get information on packages and prices and then I called them to make appointments to meet with them

I emailed them & wait for their respond. They usually contact me within 24 hours after my email. After the emails, I call & set up appt. to see them.

Call them. You can get answers faster. I always ask them to email or send me info before we would visit them... you know to save you from meeting people that maybe a little out of the price range or from the photographers that take blah pics.

i met all the ones i liked at showcases, so i just filled out a form there and then either they called or i did and set up appts.
