I have a nasty scar on my upper right arm and shy away from sleeveless gowns. However, I might have to wear one for a wedding I am in. So...OI might get a wrap to conceal it.
Question - how the heck do wraps stay on? Is it a pain? Do you have to sort of keep your elbows bent all night? They look so nice but I'm skeptical about their staying power.
THANK YOU LADIES!!!

Have you considered airbrushing for the wedding day? Then you can wear whatever you like!

Can dermablend take care of the scar and then you would have no worries!! My mom is using it on her tatoo and scar

I hadn't thought about dermablend. It's keloid - the kind of raised, purply kind of scar, so it's not really the color but the raised-factor that's gross.
At some point I will have some kind of plastic surgery on it, and probably I think it's grosser than anyone else does, but I'm still self-conscious.

You are probably right that it is not as noticeable to others but you should be comfortable on your day.

I have seen girls tuck thier wraps inside thier straps, so that it stays on without having to keep your elbows bent all day. They wrap it around from the back & lace it through from inside the shoulders & then let it hang from the straps.... it looks ok that way and it is much more comfortable.

you can wear your like my mom did on my wedding day.
Wrap it around you in the front, then make a knot tie in the back. Moms stayed all night.
Or, you can do what she did for when she wanted to untie her wrap, you can have little loops sewn onto the frony of your dress on top, and the wrap can slide through the loops & it hangs without moving.
I also 2nd dermablend.

You can have clear straps (like on bras these days) attached to a wrap, then slip your arms through the straps - it won't go anywhere.
