our e-party was June 08 and our wedding is february 2010. i invited some people to the eparty and they responded no. we've since then lost touch. do i have to invite them to the wedding?

My general rule is if you haven't seen or spoken to someone over a year, or left things off awkwardly, you don't have to invite them. It just doesn't make sense. JMO

i already removed them from my wedding list but now i was wondering if that was the wrong thing to do. the odd thing is one of them is still friends with the people i call 'my friends' and i have to see her tomorrow night, which will be the first time in probably a year, but should still be awkward

I dont think it's necessary. If they had come to the e-party, I might think differently. But since they didnt and you lost touch...i dont think it's an issue

see i think this one is a lil tricky--they didnt come but they were still invited, and ive always heard that everyone invited to the e-party has to be invited to the wedding..

I still think it's a general rule, but I feel like if you haven't talked to a person in almost 2 hours and they didn't come to the E-party then it's a little different. I guess there's exceptions to every rule right lol?

I don't think you have to invite them. When your wedding comes around they may wonder why they didn't get an invitation though.

question - did they send you a gift or at least a card congratualtion you on engagement since they couldnt come to party?
if so, i would lean towards maybe inviting them.
if not, then leave it as it is..

I wouldnt invite them...You havent kept in touch and they have made no attempt to reach out to contact you...Dont feel bad about taking them off the list, I am doing a similar thing only it is more than just one couple...

one of them sent a card with a gift card to BBB. the others sent nothing.
its more than 1 guest...its about 2 or 3 plus dates so say 6 people. they are part of the 'group of friends' but they dont like FH and one of them whom i never had a problem with all of a sudden seems to ignore me for reasons i am unaware of....so my thing is...if you dont get an invite from me...would you really be wondering why? and if you get offended then i would ask why as well being that you act as if you dont like us so why should you care if you arent invited? i think they would just feel a little left out since everyone else would be invited but i almost hope they feel left out
oops i'm mean

I wouldn't invite them if they couldn't make it to your e-party or didn't care to come to it then why should they be invited to your wedding.

That's understandable. To be honest if you really don't want them there than don't sweat it. As we all move closer to our dates there will be a lot of people we will cut off.

Re: question about etiquette in re: to e-party and wedding
It's up to you. We're inviting people to the wedding who aren't invited to the engagement party (coworkers, old hs friends) since the engagement party is small and mainly just family. I know there are some people who won't be able to make it to the engagement party but I am going to still invite them to the wedding.
