Have you girls ever has extensions put into your hair.. the ones that are hooked on with bobby pins?
I was under the impression that I would get them sewn in the day before the wedding but when I went for the trial, she just clipped them in with bobbypins and says that this way is better and isn't painful.
I was told before that with the sewn-in extensions, you can basically dance all night and the curls (if you have a down hairstyle) will stay in place or maybe fall just a little.. is it the same way with the bobbypin extensions?
PLEASE ADVICE... because if the sewn in extensions really are better, then I can have my usual hairstylist put them in and not the person I hired for the wedding. Basically my hairstylist can sew them in the day before and the wedding hair girl can just style as planned
Thanks!!

Re: Question about extensions
Well it really just depends on the quality of the hair not really the way the stylist attaches it. You need to just make sure you get 100% real hair...and that way it will curl and not burn. I've done the clip in ones.... I've never heard of the bobby pin ones though... are they the same track as the glue in ones b/v the clip ins are the same as the glue in....know what I mean?

Re: Question about extensions
I had them sewn in my hair and it does hurt and its a extremely long process. Plus when you want them out you have to wait until your hair grows a bit so it will be loose at the scalp to take the stiching out> Which is a ***** and still pulls hair out!!! MHO- Just get the clip in, I'm doing this because I chopped my hair off and need something for the style I want.

Re: Question about extensions
elyse, you've got FM
I didn't really take a look at the track but as she was putting them in they definitely looked like rows of hair and yeah its 100% real hair for sure

Re: Question about extensions
The ones they bobby pin in are just the hair wefts. The clip in ones are just hair wefts with clips sewn on them so its easier to get on and off! You just tease hair by the scalp and clip them on. SO easy and its much better if you only want it for one night! And dont damage your hair like sewn in ones. Just make sure they are 100 % human hair. Im using them for my wedding also!!
