I like the song 'There You'll Be' by Faith Hill b/c the words are meaningful, but my Dad likes 'Dady's Little Girl'. Is the song you dance to supposed to be from your dad to you, or to your dad from you?

Re: Question about Father/Daughter Dance
You can do whatever you want - it could be from either point of view. Personally I wanted it from my perspective so I chose There You'll Be

Definitely your choice.
However, I have seen weddings where there are two dances., so technically you can do both....What the heck...its your day..anything goes sweetie

Re: Question about Father/Daughter Dance
I think you could dance to both...the DJ can play 1-2 minutes of each and announce in between that the one song is dedicated to you from your dad and then vice versa for the other.
edited for spelling...sorry

Or I was thinking I can dance with my dad to his song and than later on in the evening have the DJ announce that I made a special request to dance with him to a song that I selected.
