Question about Favors & wedding gifts rec'd

I have rec'd some wedding cards/gifts from people not coming to the wedding. I am going to mail them favors. Can I do it now? Or do I have to wait until after the wedding?

I also def have enough favors because we had so many people say that they can't come.

Why should they get theirs before people that are actually going?

I give you credit for even sending them a favor even when they aren't coming.

My Fh is Greek & he says that is what family does...I didn't know this. His family does it all the time.

We bought 125 favors (one per couple.
We now only have about 150 people coming which means we will only need about 75.....so will have alot of extra. Even though all wrapped already I could always unwrap & bring back to macy's. We bought Lenox Sunflower candy dishes. They were $8.50 each so won't keep that many laying around.

I mean its a nice thought...just never thought of doing it.

Besides my favors aren't as nice as that LOL
