Question about final meetings...

Question about final meetings...

I am just about 6 weeks away form my wedding!! I know I have to have final meeting with the venue, DJ, pastor...etc. The only call I have received if from the florist. Did you girls have to call them or did they call you? Also...am I right to think this all needs to be done like now?? TIA

i had to call the florist (Pedestals) ... i was kind of surprised because you'd think with a big-name vendor like that, they'd be calling me ... but they haven't.

Did you already fill out your paperwork for your DJ? My DJ doesn't meet with us until about 3 weeks before but sends paperwork out 6 weeks before.

No...he gave it to us when we met with him but I haven't even looked at it yet. I just told FH we have to figure out the music soon!

mine said the same thing so i guess that's normal

I called/emailed myself all the vendors
I didnt even think they would be contacting me
the only calls/emails I got were the week of from all the vendors reconfirming all of the details working out the time line

I've had to contact the vendors myself too to follow-up. Are we supposed to meet with the florist again? I thought after seeing the sample we were done...

I called all of them also, with the exception of my RH, they called me to set up.

My florist wants a finals meeting to go over everything one last time.
