Hello Ladies I am going to look at flowers this weekend at Burtons! I am extrememly excited. I keep reading when all of you went to look you gave them a budget. I just was wondering if a couple people dont mind, if they could tell me what theyre budget was. What I am saying is that I am not sure how much is too much to pay for flowers, and what is too low. Thank you!

Re: Question about flower budget
I was hoping 2500-3000 as my budget, but when I picked what I wanted it came out to 4000

Re: Question about flower budget
Does you know how many weddings Burtons does a day? I see your wedding if a few weeks after mine and I thought they could handle more than one wedding pre day but they said that they were too busy when I'm getting married next year (a sunday afternoon in July). I haven't settled on a florist yet so was sad when they said they couldn't see me..
Regarding budget, I guess it depends on wedding size but I've told florists that I have a budget of about $4500 or a 200 person wedding, 6 BMs and 1 MOH, and a chuppah....

Re: Question about flower budget
I originally wanted to pay $1500 max...but then fell in love with cherry blossoms and had to have them....we received a quote for around $2100.

Not sure where you are getting married, but Danny at Westchester Floral is amazing and will work with your budget. We're getting everything for under $3000.

Re: Question about flower budget
I'm not sure how large your party is or how many tables you want flowers for but I think on average under 3k is expected. Even 2500. JMO.
edited for speed typing typo!

Re: Question about flower budget
I didn't know how much to budget for flowers either. I just visited a bunch of them, told them what I wanted and asked for a quote. then you can sortof see the range and who's better priced. I guess my logic is I'd like to get what i want for the best price.
We end up going with Flower Barn for $2,300. Mike was very nice and not adding extra charge everywhere like we get from some of the vendors. We are having a small wedding for only 75ppl and 3 BMs... it might not be as good as a deal as some of the other girls but I'm happy with it as my other quotes come in between 2,500 - 3,500.
