Question about Fortunoff's for our wedding bands...
Someone we know works in the jewelry department said they can get our wedding bands at cost. What I was wondering is if their prices are really high as far as wedding bands? What are the average prices there for a diamond wedding band on white gold? I don't want a lot of diamonds, just a little. We're not going to be up to LI until July, and that's only a month before our wedding, and I saw on their web page that most of their diamond bands are over $1,000. Is that about right? Thanks!

Question about Fortunoff`s for our wedding bands...
Not really, but their bands do tend to run more than most other places. Richie fell in love with a band for himself that is $1200. I thought that was more than we should spend, but someone reminded me that you look at it everyday for the rest of your life. However, I *did* get him an engagement band with diamonds in it! The first man with an engagement ring ha!Long story...LOL

Question about Fortunoff`s for our wedding bands...
My e-ring is from Fortunoff's so we looked at the matching wedding band. Their prices are not that high at all. I want an enternity band (diamonds all the way around), platium, SIi/G color diamonds, was $1000. And that is with the mark-up. I am sure cost is around $600. The web site only offers a few selections, they have hundreds in the store.

Michele is right ... when I got my e-ring appraised
the appraisal says that Fortunoff sells their jewelry pretty much at what it is worth - so if you can get it at cost - that's great. Plus, they do have a greater selection at the store! Good Luck

I'm glad to hear that...
I looked at their website and liked what I saw, but I didn't see anything that 'WOWed' me. You know what I mean. I asked my FMIL about asking her friend for some sort of catalog she can send me, so she's going to ask this weekend. I know the quality of the jewelry is really good. They always talk about the place. And if anyone gives a present and it's jewelry, chances are it came from Fortunoff. The diamond stud earrings my fiance got me years ago are from their, and they're beautiful. I hope she's able to send me a catalog with more of a selection.Welcome New Vendors
