Is it ridiculous to get my hair done at one place and have a makeup lady come to my house to do my makeup? I am not 100% happy with the lady at the salon with my makeup. I can get someone at a very reasonable price to come to my house the day of.....Should I do it?

Of course!! This isn't even worth stressing over. You're in charge of picking whoever you want to do your hair and make-up, so go with whoever you like most.

Thats what I am doing!!! I am going to my hair place and having my hair done and then the make up girl is coming to my house to do my make up!

yeah, its fine... my sister did this for her wedding, and Im probably going to do it too... just dont settle if you arent happy with the makeup person at the salon

You can do whatever you want when it come to these things, but think about it bec on your day will you have time to be running around

I think that sounds fine! It's not like they'd be doing your hair AND makeup at the same time at the salon, so there's not much difference in whether you get your makeup done at the salon or in the comfort of your home with someone that you trust other than having more peace of mind!

that's what i did for the last two weddings i was a bridesmaid in! it worked out perfect. get hair done at the salon - time it so the makeup girl arrives just as you're getting home

My sister had one woman do her hair who was a friend of her FH's. We all went to the hair dresser's house and the make-up artist (whom was not affiliated with the salon- because my sister didn't like the way the make-up artists make-up on her own face looked) came to the hair dressers house to do our make-up. They care WAY more about their comm. than the salons'.

WHy not. Thats what I did. I went to my aunts salon for hair and came home for makeup. It worked out just fine...I was a little late getting home from hair but it was fine
