Question about hair/make-up trial

I am haveing my hair and make-up trial on Wednesday and she is coming to my home to do it.

Do I tip her?

my make up girl wouldnt accept a tip...

Is it her business or does she work for someone?
That was my take on why I did not. My Hair and Make-up person both own their own business and I went to them for the trial

I think she owns her own business. How do I find out?

I'm having my trial on Wednesday too!!!

The lovely ladies on this site advised me that a tip isn't necessary as the woman that is doing it has her own business (not a salon) and works out of here home. My trial is pretty pricey and she is pocketing 100% of it so a tip really isn't warranted.

this is defiitely a personal choice

i think since she is coming to your house for the trial - i would just give her $10 extra

and like $20 extra the day of

i have no idea if this is 'right' but i know that is what I would do

also - if you dont mind sharing - who are you using. . . the places i looked at come to you for the day of but you have to go to them for the trial . . . i would love to have them come to my house bc i want to see how they work OUTSIDE of their salon . . .
