With the crash of the helicopter, it got me thinking...FH and I have already decided to go there for our honeymoon, but I was wondering, since I'm not the best flyer... do you have to take a plane to get from one island to the next?? I don't travel very often, so I apologize if it's a silly question!

Yes, you do take a plane to go from one island to the next. But they are regular sized planes, not little planes. They are absolutely safe. The planes I went on had 30+ rows of seats.

i hear a rumor that sometime this year or next year there will be some sort of a ferry between islands. i'll have to check up on that.
