i know everyone's hair grows differently but how long do you let your hi lites go before you touch them up? blonde hi lites on brown hair. it's just about an inch right now from my scalp and wondering if i could go another two weeks or just do this weekend. i really dont wanna spend one of these beautiful days we are about to have in a salon! also, when you get them done, do you notice your hairdresser doesn't get them right to the scslp but like a few mm/cm away? maybe i am just being anal?

liz - i usually do about the same just cant remember the last time i had them done! jenny - exactly. gonna enjoy this weekend while the nice weather sticks around! did you blow out your hair today?

I go every 4-5 months or sometimes a little longer depending on if I have an event. I did my highlights in March and even thought people say you can't see my roots I have a couple of inches of brown hair. My hairdressers does highlights that pick up my natural highlights so even when they grow out I can go without the process for a while. I am going to go next weekend b/c I have a wedding the following weekend.

don't remind me....I am going to jump in the shower in about 10 minutes. Then when I get home blow it out (takes like 45 minutes) But worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
