ok, so i get married at 3 and my reception doens't start until 7... where the heck do i go in between? to take pics? does the photgrapher decide where we take pics and does your whole bridal party and parents come with you?

You could take pictures at a park or something. You should discuss with you photographer what you want and where he/she thinks will be convenient, pretty, etc.

I have the same situation. We are going to take pictures at a different location since we can't arrive at the hall until 6:30ish to take pics there. You should find out how early you could get to your hall to take pics and if you need to find a location for in between, decide if you want to pay or not. That will help determine your options.

Yea, I have that situation as well. We wanted there to big a large gap because we want to take pictures. I'm going to ask the photographer where he thinks is best. My reception is in a hotel so I wanted people to go back to the hotel after the church and relax before the CH.

I had my ceremony at 3:30 in Riverhead and my Reception at Giorgio's was also at 7:00.
After the ceremony we went straight to Giorgio's - to the LI Sound with the BP.
When we were done with the BP, they went back to Giorgio's while we finished up on the beach. We then went over to the fountain and took some pictures there.
After that we went to the gardens, we took pictures there with our BP and with our parents. We didn't have time to take any pictures on the golf course though and we made it for the last 10 minutes of our cocktail hour, which we would have liked to been there for longer.
Maybe you might make it for your cocktail hour if you and your fiance want to, since you are getting married 1/2 hour earlier than I did.
