Its not a great bar-- kind of a townie bar (hole in the wall) but Oasis in Lindenhurst has karaoke from 10-2am on Saturday nights. Questionable crowd...but its cheap and fun.

Theres a cool place in the city called 2nd on 2nd....and thats where it is too. We had a great time there because even though it was karaoke, it was so high energy, it absolutely wasnt the cheesy karaoke bar...it was a blast...but its small and they dont let it get too packed so get there early to put your requests in because we got there around 11 (not too late at all) and we had to wait 2 1/2 hours for my friend to sing! hth!

I was just going to say the same thing...2nd on 2nd is a fun place. The atmosphere is real cool. They also provide private rooms also but I think the action is mainly in the lounge area...Have fun and Happy B/day..

Another fun idea in the city is to go to one of the karaoke bars in k-town (very close to Penn). They are private rooms, so bring a bunch of friends. Some are BYOB which is also kind of fun... I've been to a few parties at these places and they were a great time!
