How many did you guys have before you ultimately decided on a hair and makeup artist? And if you had more than 1 trial did you call the artists you didn't want and tell them you picked someone else? Is that ackward?

Re: question about makeup and hair trials
I had 2 trials for both. The first one I liked the colors of makeup but, not quality. I just didnt call them back, you dont have to. I loved my second trial and booked with them.

Re: question about makeup and hair trials
I hard a hard time with hair and makeup. I booked my 3rd hair trial and 4th makeup. I didn't call them to tell them I wasn't booking-only the ones I did book.

Re: question about makeup and hair trials
I booked on my third trial and the only time I called was because I was VERY upset with how I was treated and I felt they needed to know. I would feel terrible if another bride was ever treated as badly as I was so I called and gave the mu artist who was also the owner of the company my thoughts...

Re: question about makeup and hair trials
I went on 3 makeup trials and 2 hair. I booked my second makeup trial, then consequently cancelled and booked my third, and booked my second hair trial. I never contacted the first mu artist, and the first hair trial was a salon so really no need to contact.

Re: question about makeup and hair trials
I had four makeup trials and two hair. I would have kept going until I was happy with the results...I think it's impt to be happy with your makeup and hair vendors It's not necessary to call the ones you aren't hiring to tell them you aren't going to use them, don't worry.

Re: question about makeup and hair trials
i had three. I did speak with the fiurst because I wanted to discuss prices, they wanted half down (7,500) for all 11 of us. Thats unreasonable so when she wouldn't budge I said sorry, ill keep looking.
2nd one I emailed and told her I found someone else, but thanked her. She was nice and good, just not what i wanted and too outspoken for my bm's... she would have tired to dominiate the day and one of us would have told her to stuff the F up...lol
