Since my favors with my place cards are going to be a martini glass and my favor on the guests table will be cocktail shakers do you think these inivites will be way too informal for a day wedding. or should I go with more formal invitations? I will also post my favors along with the few invites I have thought about.

Since it is a daytime wedding, the invitation doesn't need to be very formal but some of the invitations shown are just too informal for a wedding.
I like the pink invitation and the second invitation that babybride posted. They are both good choices and aren't too formal or informal.

Are you serving a full dinner/lunch or just CH type of stuff? I like them, although I do think they are casual - but I would make sure people know they are getting dinner too, b/c I think if I got an invite like those I would like I was just getting drinks and hors.
Oh yes I am having a Cocktail hour and a 5 course meal. but that is a good point they might just think they are getting cocktails.

I think the invites you posted are very informal. I like having a theme...but I would take the invites in a different direction within the theme.
Martini's remind me of the 1930s & 40s - something art deco &/or art nouveau. Great Gatsby. Bonnie & Clyde.
I think the martini invites are cute and would work well for a dinner party or backyard party...so if you're going for cute, go for it.

I like the first invitation that you posted, with the martini glass. I think that is an elegant and formal looking invitation. If this is your theme, I would do it!
