Is it expected that we will make the menus...or is this just an option? I have seen some girls who are making their own and it just never dawned on me to do this.... So, will the RH provide them for you if you are okay with that?

Most halls don't provide a menu. The waiters just tell your guests the options. I am making them because you can never hear what they are saying and have to say what like 3 times. Plus I love the way they look on the table.

its totally not necessary- its just yet another crazy thing us brides burden ourselves with just weeks before the wedding
its a nice touch and im doing them, but i honestly doubt my guests will miss them or look for them

it definitely is a nice touch...did it take you a while to make yours? I had not even thought about it...I think I will first see if my RH will provide them...otherwise FH is good with that sorta stuff

I'm making mine because I like the way it looks on the tables. My hall provides them if I want to pay $150. But I want them to look a certain way which is why i'm making them. Its not necessary to have them though, just a special touch.

I had mine made on Vistaprint for about 30 bucks. I tried making my own at first but got frustrated!

I'd call your hall to check it out and see if you can look at their sample designs, if DIYing isnt an option for you.
