Does anyone know if you can stamp on metallic paper? Will it smudge?

Re: Question about metallic paper???
depending on what kind. most are not meant for 'ink jet' printers and need a laser jet. in other words, the ink just sits on top and does not get absorbed.
i found a paper in Pearl Paint that comes in a 5 pack by Artoz. it says copy, inkjet and laser jet on it so i am almost positive it can be stamped on. i have not tried it yet but am curious. it was also pricey at $5 for the pack but i'm sure if you look online, you can get it cheaper.
why not just buy 2 sheets from Michaels or something...1 in the cover weight paper (90lb and above) and 1 in the regular weight (60lb-80lb) and just test it out? that's probably your best bet :)

Re: Question about metallic paper???
mmm i worked with metalic paper but haven't stamped on it. you can if you're in the area go down to the Paper Presentation store in NYC (just google the address) and pick up some tester metallic papers there to try it out. they offer tester papers in front of the stacks of paper that they sell!
