you will get used to it. maybe if this DOES happen mid april... you could like... spend a few nights there... then a few at home.

alternate for like the first month ... after that be like 'okay, i'm good. time to put the big girl pants on!'

it will be sad. you will cry. things won't ever be the same again. but like - they're not supposed to be? you're getting married and eventually its going to be you and FH with your kids making your own traditions.

you can always visit home. they can always visit you!

I was nervous when I first moved out with DH. It was a week after I turned 20 and it all happened pretty quickly. We talked about moving in together, one month later we were approved for our apartment, and one month later we were in it. It was my first time being away from my parents too and I'm very close to them, so it was hard. I'm just 5-10 minutes away from them and although I've been living with DH for a year & a half, I still go to my parents' house all the time. lol. At first it was really weird not living with them but honestly, after I realized that I still see them sooo much, I calmed down. If anything, I talk to them and see them now more than ever.

I freaked out the first time I moved out...then i had to move back home when my Dad got sick to help out my mom...I'm sure moving out the second time I will freak out again too...but not as much! ...just the part that I feel bad that my mom will be all alone again!

Nope, probably b/c I did it so many times. Went away to college for 4 years,...then moved back home...then moved to CA...then moved back home...then moved in with FH. I dont get homesick much.
