My friend got married yesterday and I noticed her ring bearer had a cute DIY looking box in which the rings were kept. I wanted to have a box as well and hers match my color scheme. She said I can definitely borrow it. Can this be my 'something borrowed' or is the tradition that the old, new borrowed, blue are to be worn or carried (ie: blue bok charm...) by the bride- not just used in the wedding?
At the end of the day, I'm going to use the box, but I'm curious as to if this would follow the tradition?

agreed... all the 'somethings' are supposed to be something you wear the day of or have on something you are holding (like rosaries around your bo-k.
