I haven't changed my name legally (with SS) and all the mortgage paperwork for the house is under my maiden name. Should I change my name before we close, so the title shows my married name? If I don't change it before closing, how much of a headache is it going to be to change it on the title afterwards.?? TIA

We weren't married when we bought our first home. When we sold our place, my DW signed her new name and then FKA (Formerly Known As) with her maiden name - where required.
