Question about on-line travel sites for honeymoon

We tried to use a travel agent but after going back and forth 7 times she could not get us a hotel/flight package to London that was reasonable. I gave her pretty specific info and even mailed her some websites as to castles, sites etc.

Long story short, this is yet another thing I'm doing. If I knew about this when I started I'd have it done by now. We only have another few days before I started teaching an additional course.

I've started to search and so far travelocity.com seems to be offering the best deals. Does anyone have any experience in booking your trips on-line?
Any other web-sites? I'd like to avoid those that keep the airline and hotel anonymous.

Any tips would be appreciated.

TIA

We booked all three legs of our honeymooon with Expedia. They had the best deals. I've always book our trips with Expedia, for the past 4 years.

Hey Theresa- don't you trust me Anyway try all of them since you never know which will be the cheapest. Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz are the American ones but there are also European sites as well. I'll send them to you tonight when I get home

I booked my HM through an e-based TA and can't recommend her enough...definitely MUCH cheaper than land based agents.

We have booked ALL of our vacations, with the exception of one to Jamaica through Liberty Travel which was a TOTAL disaster, through travelocity and expedia...we have been to Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Atlanta and Vegas and can definitely recommend them...sometimes you really can't their deals, especially last minute (for us a lot of trips are last minute). Good luck!

Christine,

Of course I trust you I'm just sitting home sick and impatient although I still have no dsire to go back to school tomorrow.

While you're driving home in 80 degree weather I just went outside to clear the snow off my car's roof.

I'm so jealous
