I know this normally happens a lot, in that event what do you do? When they come in after your deadline do you automatically mark them down as No's or wait a few days then mark them down as No's?
TIA

Re: Question about Outstanding RSVP's
no, you should call those people and speak with them about what they'll be doing.
imagine they DID send them back (with a 'yes') but it was lost in the mail ...

Re: Question about Outstanding RSVP's
Anyone who has still not sent a response after the deadline I would personally call and find out what the deal is because it's important you get a final count as soon as possible. I wouldn't automatically mark them down as a 'no' because what if they did send it back and it got lost in the mail for some reason and they said yes and show up to the wedding and you didn't count them? It's better to just get an answer straight from them. Yes, it's annoying to have to make the phone calls but it has to be done.

Re: Question about Outstanding RSVP's
Call everyone you did not get. Some people are just forgetful and your better of calling and getting a definate answer instead of marking them down as a no and than have them show up at the wedding and having no seat.

Re: Question about Outstanding RSVP's
calls def need to be made to anyone whose card you do not receive. if you dont want to personally make the calls to some people (ie mob or mog friends) have them call.

Yes, call. DH had some RSVP's stuck behind his mailbox on the wall and he didn't find them until a few days before the rsvp date.
