Did you choose the pics for your parent albums or did you let the moms do it? I have to finalize the pics for their albums and I reallllllly dont want to have to sit there and listen to them gripe about why they only get 25 pics each!

My parents chose their own photos, and Dhs arents chose the right amt. My parents went over by 5, so then I worked with them and offered some insight (or just said I would blow them up for them since I scanned the proofs).

I let them do it. I dropped off the books, gave them post-its and said you have 48 hours to pick 25 pics

My mom chose the pictures for her album, I couldn't imagine trying to pick out pictures for someone else. I had a hard enough time with our own album!!
And when they complain about 25 tell them my mom was only allowed 20 (she went over but she had to pay extra for it!).

They are getting a mini-version of our digital album, so we picked the pictures. We added some for each family. We put this project on hold for a while but now it is almost finished. I have a draft layout and I am only making some very small changes.

Our parents chose their own pictures. I helped my mother and did it quickly. I belive we gave my ILs a time frame. It worked out fine.

My dad designed his own album and my inlaws designed theirs.
If they want more pictures tell them that they can have whatever they want as long as they pay for it!

We let the moms choose their own photos for their albums. They were able to choose the cover color as well. (they both picked white)

my mom and I did it together but ultimately she chose...
his mother did a first look through and had way too many pictures, ones which were totally unnecessary, so I went through those nd narrowed them down and then sat with her and said, 'this or this' and she would pick...and it went like that until she had 30 pictures

I let the parents pick them out themselves. I don't know what shots they would want. I told them it was 24 and 24 only and that was it. I said I will have all of the pics for them to make copies on their own, so don't worry about not getting every shot that you want. Both my in-laws were fine with that, but my MOm was a different story. We decided to upgrade my parents album to 50 pics, b/c they did so much for us and deserved. We wanted to give them an extra special Thank You. The only thing is that my Mom is so nervous that my MIL will see her album one day and wonder why she didn't get to upgrade hers......OH WELL!!!

we let them choose their own pics-- 18 each, but that wasnt enough for my MIL, who paid for the 10 extra pages for her album.
