Question about person who will be doing music at church

I left a message for the guy who is supposed to do the music for the church. Im waiting for him to get back to me.

I was just wondering what you would do if you paid for the music and the guy didnt show up? I know someone who this happened to and im nervous this may happen to us.

What would your back up plans be?

then youre probably screwed... why wouldnt they show up?

ETA: this is something you need to talk to the church about... they are the ones that are responsible for the organist being there... they should be the ones to provide an alternate

ETA: our donation to the church paid for the organist it wasnt a seperate payment.
