Question about pillowtop beds

Question about pillowtop beds

DH and I just bought a new bed and it is so thick...it has a pillowtop on the top of the mattress and also on the bottom....Does this mean I need to buy special sheets and a larger comforter....the bed looks huge.

Re: Question about pillowtop beds

Get sheets that have deep pockets. Measure the bed and make sure the fitted sheet will fit. We had a bed that needed 17-18' pocket fitted sheets, what a pain!!! Now we got a new bed and we can use 15' pocket fitted sheets.

What size bed do you have? If you have a queen, a king comforter might be good so it is longer on the sides. If you have a king, I don't think a california king will help you...

We have a Queen...I guess I should get a king comforter but won't the dut ruffle be too big then. This is so annoying. I'm going to go meaure the sides now

We have the same thing. I get the deep sheet and even sometimes they aren't deep enough and pop off the corner in the middle of the night! Our Queen comforter is ok but i think a king would be fine as well. Just consider everythings measurements when pick stuff out (i.e. other blankets, etc.). I love the pillowtop we have but DH says it hurts his back if he sleeps on his stomach (not enough support).

We have the double pillowtop bed too. I luv it! I actually really didn't need to buy deep pocket sheets for some reason. All the ones that I bought were the regular size. I know BB&B sells deep pockets. You can get them there if you prefer.
