Question about programs -divorced parents

If your fiance's (or your) parents are divorced and remarried, how do you handle this situation.

Do you just name the biological parents?
EX:

Brides parents.....John and Jane Doe

Grooms parents...Sally Roe
Bob Smith

OR
name the stepfather and stepmother
EX:

Grooms parents.....Sally and Tim Roe
Bob and Sue Smith

TIA!!!

Both sets of our parents are divorced and all remarried - to avoid 8 names, we just put 'together with our parents'

But, I have seen:

John and Sue Smith (dad and new wife)
and
Jane Jones (mom)

request your presence...

son of
Mr. (dad)
and
Mr and Mrs. (mom and new husband)

Re: Question about programs -divorced parents

I have divorced parents and I know that the Setp parents would be very offended if I didn't name the in the program, if I do one. I didn't put any names in the invites because FH's parents are also divorced, but not remarried.

It depends on yours/his relationship with the step-parents and what the biological parents and step-parents would feel if the step parents were left out

I am writing this:

Crystals Parents
Debra and Douglas Severance
Jack and Constance Kulp

Jonathan's parents
Diane and Alan Christie
Carl and Beth Zwerling

I'm actually closer to my step dad than my real dad, so I definately want to acknowledge HIM TOO!!!!
