question about recessional music

right now I picked a ballad as our recessional song. I love what it says and how it sounds.

should it be a more of a jumpy music? my DJ said that ppl usually use a more lively music after the breaking of the glass.

not sure that I want that, but at the same time I dont want it to sound somber or ppl to think its somber

i think you should pick whichever song you want regardless of what your dj thinks! if it has special meaning to you, then use it.

we're using 'over the rainbow/what a wonderful world' as our recessional.

well this song doesnt have any special meaning to us other than that we both love it and can listen to it for hours

decide on what u like and want.
if u want a lively song, then pick something else but if ure in love with ur original song and have ur heart set on it... well u know what to do.
