One of my bridemaids just called about a month ago told me that she's pregrant and due the week before my wedding. Do I still send her a save the date. I know she's definately not coming.

I had the same thing happen! I was so bummed she wouldn't be there. But I still sent an STD.

I'm sending one to people I know won't come it might be a nice keepsake. I save everything from my friends' weddings.

why should she be treated differently if she is pregnant? you should defintely not change anything that you were going to do because she is. she can make her own decisions about what she wants to do. you don't want her feelings to be hurt over it either.

First off, I know it must be disappointing that your friend cannot be at your wedding! I had the same thing happen to me, it was my best friend (who lives in Delaware) and she is due the EXACT DAY of my WEDDING!
To answer your question, there are quite a few people that I sent STD's to that I knew beforehand would not be able to come to our wedding. Mostly because my FH made the STD himself and I was really proud of them! And also b/c we set our date immediately after getting engagement and weren't having a long engagement or a party, etc. It basically was like an 'announcement' for us!
THe short answer - by all means send your friend a STD. Its a very nice gesture
