question about save the dates...
Re: question about save the dates...
Only send them to people you are 110% inviting. We sent to family, family friends and close friends ie those in the bridal party. DO NOT send to co-workers or the B and C list because you have to remember if you leave your job or you stop talking to someone according to STD ettiquette you must invite EVERYONE who got an STD.
Re: question about save the dates...
send to everyone you plan on inviting, in other words not your b or c lists, and maybe skip friends all together since some are on your A list you dont want them talking and then starting drama

Re: question about save the dates...
we will only be sending STD's to everyone we know for sure is going to be invited to the wedding (which is pretty much our whole list). We don't even really have an B, let alone a C list. There are an handful of people that if we need to, will be cut at the last minute so we don't want to send them a STD because then we HAVE to send them an invite.

People definitely talk when the STD's arrive. I would definitely send them to everyone I intend to invite, or just family and BP.
Re: question about save the dates...
Do they live close by? I would say if they are all friends with each other and live locally but some are on the B and C lists you should not send them save the dates, since as it was already said you will then have to invite them and then whats the point of having a B and C list? If they will have to travel though and get hotels and maybe take a vacation day or two you might want to think a little more about how sure you are that you want to invite them and send them save the dates since it will make their planning easier.
