Hello ladies, I was planning to send out my wedding invites next month for my May wedding. I strongly believe that my shower invites will also be going out next month. Do you think it matters if both set of invites go out around the same time? I know the people planning my shower won't want to tell me when they're sending them out. I just want to avoid confusion with the guests. Anyone else had this happen?

We're planning on sending out the invites next month as well and I don't think it would be an issue. I have no idea when my shower is, when invites will go out or if they've gone out already but I don't that should affect when you are sending them out.

I would say the first or second week of february with the RSVP date being the 30th of march.
I just have a feeling the shower invites might be going out next month and that the shower might also be in march ... ughhh

Since they're separate invites I think you should be okay. People shouldn't be confused as long as they read them :) Plus, I'm guessing that not everyone that's getting an invite is going to the shower as well - so you should be okay.

People aren't going to be confused...send them out according to the timing that is most appropriate for YOU and don't concern yourself with the shower invites - it's out of your control.

Thanx ladies ... i guess i just concern myself about the less brighter bunch that might not read and mix the shower date with the wedding rsvp date and so on.
