Would you/should you attend a showcase at a RH even if you dont plan to book the RH? Does it make sense to see different vendors like bands, dj's, photo etc that are related to the RH holding the showcase?
Just curious as I have no experience in going to showcases. There are a few coming up at places we wont be looking at, but it would be interesting to me to meet/sample vendor items that potentially could work for my wedding.

I think you should if you have a chance. Doesn't hurt to shop around for Vendors and see what they can offer you.

Definitely!! Plus they have free food and drinks and you can get ideas and meet with vendors who may or may not be associated with your RH.

I think its worth it also. You dont have to use the house vendors, so you might meet one you love! Also they do giveaways sometimes. And the one I just went to at Bellport CC had tons of FOOD!

We went to one and that was enough LOL the vendors dont really give you any information other than basic pricing which isnt really their true prices anyway. i guess its a good idea in the sense that you get to see the options out there and if you have a vendor in mind they may distribute % coupons or something. We did go to a handful of DJ showcases to get an idea of their particular sound/personality though! HTH!
