Question about shower guest list

Do we have to invite very female that is on the wedding guest list? There are several of my cousins who are bringing wives/fiances' who I really don't talk to, or know that well. I'm not sure if I should invite them or not. Help!

only female 'family'/close friends got invited...like his friends from work -- those wives were not invited...
