We so far have done Bed Bath and Beyond and Travelersjoy.com, I am not sure if we are doing anything else because i don't think there is anything left at BBB to click on lol

Re: Question about starting a Registery
I did Bed Bath and Beyond for most things and Williams Sonoma for my dishes (I love my roosters!!!). I started them online (any old can opener or wooden spoon will do!) and then went to the to store to update things and see if there was anything else I could find that I wanted.

Re: Question about starting a Registery
I think it all depends on your guests. For us, I choose 3...a couple more high end (Williams Sonoma for expensive cutlery/pots etc. and Macys for china/linens) and one more down to earth - Crate and Barrell...I'd think of who your guests are and where you could see them buying. Good luck. Most places do it online now too so you don't even have to go to the store if you don't want to.

Re: Question about starting a Registery
I did BBB for all basics -- appliances, baking, cookware (since it is cheaper for everyone with 20% off)
I did crate and barrel for glassware and serving platters
I'm torn between Fortunoff's, Macy's, and bloomingdales..I can't find bedding I like anywhere and i feel Macys has the biggest selection but nothing in the store. Seems everything needs to be ordered.

Re: Question about starting a Registery
We had planned on 3 but we ended up just doing Williams-Sonoma and Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

Re: Question about starting a Registery
Our main registry is BBB, that will be for appliances, dishes, stemware, flatware, etc. Macy's will probably be for mainly bedding and luggage, and maybe more interesting glassware. I also did Pottery Barn, pretty much JUST for their reindeer holiday dishes lol, so we might also do Fortunoff's as a more practical alternative, but I think between BBB and Macy's we should be OK.

Re: Question about starting a Registery
We registered at three: Macy's, Williams Sonoma, and Target. For us, we went with national chains b/c all of our guests were OOT. It made no sense to register at, for example, Fortunoff's since there were less than 10 guests from LI.
We had a great experience with all three of our registries.
