I have a question about save the date cards. when do you send them I have never heard of them before. what do they say exactly(the wording)

here are what mine looked like but the wording was a little different. You can send them out pretty much 6 mos to whenever out. I sent mine out at 6 mos.

I think anytime before...i sent them about 7 months before. try favorlady.com she was awesome and not expensive.

these are mine. They can have ANY kind of saying or poem you want. I am actually addressing them and sending them out this week. They are a note with a magnet attatched in the middle.
These are the ones I made. I printed them on postcard size paperstock so I could mail them without an envelope. They were sent about 4 months before the wedding but you can send them out anytime.
You can look at sonicstef.com for some great examples but I sent mine out 6 months prior to the wedding. It is to let the guests know the date of the wedding and hotel/travel info, if necessary.
